The Rod Oar Paddle^TM is designed to fit most kayak class fishing rods. The short tubular shaft is ribbed to create a non-slip grip. The shaft tube is tapered inside to accept and snuggly fit varying fishing rod butt diameters.

The overall design of the Rod Oar Paddle^TM encompasses the fact that a kayak fisherman fishes from tight quarters. The blade is designed small enough to be comfortable in the cockpit, but broad enough to bite the water for paddling.
